That's the word for him, all right - I just got done with his first
movie, "Grass", which is gruelling just to watch. I can't imagine
what thought processes must have gone into the idea - "I know - lets
wander through an area full of armed barbarians and bandits and make a
do***entary about Iranian Nomads walking barefoot through snow,
trackless mountains, and rivers - yeah, that will be a good starter in
the film biz".
He and Ernest Schoedsack must have had solid brass balls the size of
coconuts, and that's without even discussing their military careers.
