And I loved the way Walker tripped himself up by failing to get into the
heads of the "wogs" he was exploiting. He didn't realise that by robbing
Odikweos of the future fame Homer gave him, he had given him motive for
murder.

For my money, Steve has flagged a bit since then. _Conquistador_ and _The
Peshawar Lancers_ weren't too bad, but I don't go back to them the way I
do
the Draka and ISOT ones.
