I think vampirism is an acquired syndrome and they don't breed; at least I

don't recall anything to suggest otherwise, and that is standard.
Half-demons 
are supposedly a "magical race" even though they clearly are not a species

and come in a wide variety of types. Shamans and necromancers seem like 
humans with a special ability, and the same probably for sorcerers and 
witches, but they are not called human and are each a "race". None in any 
ordinary sense is a race or species except werewolves.
