The second book, "Stolen", which was the first appearance of the sorcerers
and witches (and other supernatural types). The first book just had the
werewolves. It's made clear that witches can do sorerer spells, but
aren't
as good at them as sorcerers (that's part of what makes Eve a black
witch).
I don't think we see sorcerers doing witch spells until the next book,
"Dime Store Magic".

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
