What's needed, of course, is the series rewritten book by book for a male 
audience. The POV character is Roarke. Funny dialog with Peabody is
replaced 
with the same with Caro or Summerset. Roarke, it turns out, keeps pretty 
close tabs on Eve's investigations even when he isn't helping. And we
finally 
find out who the candy thief is.
