Yes, from Grey to White.  But I'm talking about his initial
change from a bodiliess spirit dweling in peace in Aman, to a
carnate being that has to eat and drink and sleep and is addicted
to nicotine.  THAT's the equivalent of changing from your earlier
game, where you've been at the level cap since its creation, to a
new game where all the continuing characters are demoted to level
6 or so.
