Or, even though she was a slave she'd been in a place or of a status
in which she didn't/couldn't have *** -- e.g., on a space****p or in
a religious convent with no human or near-human males present, or
locked into a high-tech chastity belt by an owner that didn't want
its scullery maid becoming "complicated" -- during the relevant
three or four months during which she became pregnant.  (I smudge
the timeline a bit to allow for a birth that was premature but not
recognized as such.)

The im****tant point (to the extent that any part of that weak
screenplay can be considered such) is that _she_ seemed pretty
certain that she'd become pregnant without ***.
