These days, if he did, he'd say so explicitly. There's been one (1) such
pronouncement since ex cathedra/infallibility became something a Pope
could
officially Do; there's one, or six, or several, pronouncements dating from
before the e.c./i. doctrine became official that the Church looked at and
decided "okay, that qualifies, even though at the time nobody knew this
was
something Popes could do" - the ultimate retcon. (I'd thought there was
just
one Previously-Identified one, but wikipedia points out that there've been
some
more added in since 1870.)

He -could- if he wanted to, though.
