I would suggest trying _The Queen of Air and Darkness_, _Operation
Afreet_, both novellas (the latter is the first segment of the lashup
novel _Operation Changeling_, and the novels _World Without Stars_
(aka _The Ancient Gods_),  _The Make****ft Rocket_ (aka _A bicycle
Built for Brew_) and _The Broken Sword_.
