I have to say that, having seen what happened with Star Trek, and later
with
Dragonlance, I decided I had zero interest in following the explosion of
Star
Wars material. I read the very first one, from before the second film came
out,
and it was a good read but the films went a different direction, and that
was
enough. (Splinter of the Mind's Eye - Foster?)
