Yes -- I didn't mean that to be taken as a negative. Certainly didn't
require previous reading. (Did seem to be setting up for sequels, although
I guess the fact that the subtitle's not "THE Andrea Cort novel" makes
that pretty obvious...)
The mystery was interesting, too.
