No, that's not it either. I remember that word from Alexander Besher's 
novel "Rim", which I read something like 8 or 10 years ago (just about 
the only thing I do remember from that novel is the word "kundalini", 
and one of the characters calling himself "Kundalini Kid" when he's in 
cyberspace).

The word used in "Intervention" is a somewhat more obscure one, one I've 
never encountered anywhere else.
