I don't know if this is exactly what you need, but you can see many
asteroids by doing the following:
- Use "Our sun" setting (this is the default setting when first loading)
- Click on the "+" in the lower right to zoom in (one good view is to
zoom in far enough that Jupiter's orbit is just about off screen)
- Click on the center icon in the lower right (looks like an "O" with
six dots on its exterior); check on the box that says
"Minor Body Labels"
