Apocryphally, it derives from the shouts of "Watch under" that the 
convicts used to warn those hanging out the lower ****ts of the 
trans****ts that some one above them was (about to) have a technicolour
yawn.

And to whoever thought that it was a "Technicolour s****," you were 
misremembering "One-eyed trouser s****."
