This made me think this whole subject of braindump is very old - there 
is a lot of folklore in India (probably elsewhere too) where you leave 
your body on earth & enter heaven or hell as soul or ghost or whatever; 
sometimes you can convince or con gods to send you back to original body 
- often with behavioral or time constraints. Occasionally to find the 
original body is already cremated - so you need to acquire another.

There are at least a half dozen Hindi movies with this theme - at least 
one of them ("Mr Ya Miss") a remake of a Hollywood movie where a playboy 
of a man is "punished" by gods by putting him in a woman's body to see 
the world with different eyes.
