Several Jonathan Coulton songs fit the description - let's see:
Chiron Beta Prime, I'm Your Moon, Re: Your Brains, SkyMall, Still Alive,
The Big Boom, and Under the Pines, from my collection. (He's got a few
'pure
science' songs too.)
And there are a couple that could be subtly included - I Feel Fantastic,
and
who could leave out Skullcrusher Mountain ... and the Muppet Laboratories
filk off of it (Rob Balder).
Many of these can be found on youtube already, in various forms (several
acted out by World of Warcraft toons).
