If Groundhog Day is one of your favorites (I like it too), you could
do worse than giving Replay, a book by Ken Grimwood, a try.  Same as
Groundhog Day, only repeated 6 or 7 times, but over a 25 yr period
each time.  The protagonist has similar kinds of questions to deal
with - he always dies at 43 yrs old, on a specific date.  And then he
is reborn around 18 yrs old, but that changes over time.
