	One volume?

	Sorry.

	I don't know for certain, but my GUESS is that it's been considerably 
cut down. The three volume set is three huge books -- one for 
poisonous/venomous protists up through Echinodermata, the second 
covering up through puffer fish (I think), then finishes out the 
animal kingdom in the third.

	The first book also includes a very interesting history of marine 
biotoxicology.

	What might have been removed I don't think I could tell without 
looking; they might have stuffed all three into two volumes, reduced 
the number of color plates (or B&W plates), chopped out some of the 
history or other information, etc.
