If two students submit two essays, and the essays contain large chunks
that are word for word identical, we may conclude that one copied from
the other, or, more likely both copied from a common source.  Our DNA
contains large sections that are base for base identical with those of
chimps - therefore we fathered them, or they fathered us, or, more
likely, we have a common parent some considerable time back, a
successful who ape walked the earth some five or ten million years
ago, whose blood runs in your veins, my veins, and the veins of the
chimps at the zoo.
