Couldn't help it, Mike, Wayne, you calculate a light year as the
distance light travels in a year in this manner (I use 365-1/4 days,
others use different methods, but this is what I use.)  31,557,600
seconds times 186,000 miles per second gives you one light year.  In
scientific circles this is considered a distance, not a time, but to
us mere mortals, we still consider it a part of time, as time is used
in the equation.  As for the "horror" guy, I bet him he would not come
to my house, and say that to my face.  I do not insult people even if
I feel they are wrong, and expect the same (except from you two).  My
city and state are in my profile, and my address is in the book.  He
doesn't even have to call.  He can just show up and we can discuss
manners.  He said I should get off the "newsgroup" until I get
"educated".  He can get off the "newsgroup" and jump straight to
hell.  Everyone knew what I was saying, and then some of the vultures
that hang about saw a chance to pick at my post rather than discuss
the subject because they don't know anything about it.  The rest of
the nit-picking posters (you two  excepted, of course) can all go
straight too hell on the express as well.  They know nothing about the
subject we were discussing, so they close in on "lightyear", who gave
a damn exactly how it is calculated?  They couldn't discuss the
subject so they find something to call people names over.  Bet they
wouldn't to my face.  That is the mark of a man.  These are Umbrella
