He said no such thing, not anything that implies it.  He said (making
certain assumptions, such as being fired perfetly horizontal, over flat
ground, ignoring curvature of earth, and presuming air resistance is
symmetrical) the two bullets will hit the *ground* at the same time.
Which will also be the same time as a bullet simply dropped from the
same height will hit the ground.

Your upthread claim was that "<a particular gun under discussion> shoots
a 185 grain bullet flat to 150 yards before it starts to drop".
Your claim is, as stated, incorrect.

Now maybe you meant to say "the bullet reaches a target at 150 yards
before it has a chance to drop significantly", but that's not what
you said.  What you said may be what you've heard other people say when
*they* meant "reach distance X before significant drop", but what you
*did* say was still incorrect.
