Does she?

Allston clearly rejects a lot of the "racial identification" that
_left-wing urban black radicals_ want to equipe her with, but she
seems to be practicing her _own_ ethnic culture -- which is from a
particular South Carolinan subculture -- just fine.

The Final Society Draka are only "white" in the vaguest possible sense
-- they aren't even part of our _species_ any more. Likewise the
Martians aren't _homo sapiens_ either.

You are straining too hard to shove S. M. Stirling into the pigeonhole
you have prepared for him. He doesn't fit.
